Sephora Face Complexion Brush Review

Hey everybody!
A quick review today, of the Sephora Collection Face Complexion Brush ($5). I bought this in Paris, and it was so cheap! I thought it would be a handy cheap alternative to the Clarisonic.

The review will be fairly short as there's not much to say other than I think this is great. I use it every night after makeup removal with my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I don't use it in the morning as I feel it would be too much exfoliation.
This is gentle, soft but firm bristles, and it gently exfoliates and cleanses. It may not be as effective as the Clarisonic, but I did have a 'purge' period and my skin is looking a little worse before it gets better. I do feel much cleaner and although my pores don't look reduced at all, they do look cleaner.
I would recommend this as a cheap alternative to the Clarisonic and as a way to exfoliate the face gently.
Now I have to sign off because I'm nursing a giant headache, but I hope this was helpful and made sense!
Have you tried this?

  1. Although I use a Boots botanics face brush just thought I'd chip in and agree on the wonderfulness of them!

    1. That might be a good replacement when this one finally kicks it - since I can't go back to Paris or the US every time I need a new one! :P Thanks for the suggestion, glad you agree!

    1. Me too! It works fine for me, so I no longer see the point in buying one that's over £100!

  3. Theses brushes scare me a little as I have very sensitive skin, it's great that it is working on you though :) xx

    1. I was afraid of it too but because it's so cheap I gave it a shot! I only use it once a day but you could use it less? And it's quite soft but I still don't press too hard when I use it, just in case :P
