So as I've mentioned a few (hundred?) times already, it's my birthday this Sunday. My 21st, actually. And while I'm not expecting to get huge presents and I'll of course love the things I get whatever they are, I thought I'd put together a little birthday wishlist ahead of time. I've selected 10 beauty and fashion products, and left out things like books (of which I want many), gadgets and practicalities.
Keep in mind that the vast majority of these items are well outside what I'd ever imagine getting for my birthday (especially the shoes!) so this is just a 'if we all won the lottery' kind of thing.

First off is the MAC stuff. I've been dying to get my hands on a MAC lipstick for years now but have never really had the funds. Plus the MAC counter is a little bit daunting! But my favourite shade at the moment (or one of them, anyway) is Blankety (£13.50, here), which is such a lovely nude. I don't have any nude lipsticks so this would be great. I feel it might be a MLBB shade too!
I'd also love love love a Duo Fibre Brush, or more specifically, the MAC 187 (£32.50, here) for applying my foundation. I've been applying it with clean fingers of late for lack of a decent foundation brush and this would perhaps give me that airbrushed finish I've been searching for.
The last thing (apart from the 15 Palette below) would be an Amber Lights eyeshadow to go in said palette (£11.50 here, or £9 for pan). I saw it on the lovely Louise (Sprinkleofglitter)'s MAC E/S Pro Palette video and instantly fell in love. Such a gorgeous deep golden shimmer.

I've also being eyeing the Sleek Storm Palette (£6.49, here) since I started seeing swatches on various blogs. A contender against UD's Naked palette, I've been hearing, and cheaper too which is always a plus. I'd like to try it out, work on my neutral eye.
And I've been hearing everywhere about how totally amazing the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is (£13.25 for 100ml starter kit, here) and could really use some. I have such weird dry and sensitive skin that a lot of cleansers are too astringent for me. I'd like to use one that doesn't make my face feel like it's on fire! So I hope, if I am lucky enough to receive this, or save to buy it myself, that it works for me too.

I just ran out of my Sephora Instant Moisturizer ($20, here) which I picked up in the States. It is incredibly lightweight, non-greasy and gentle on the skin and it absorbs quite quickly, leaving my skin with a little bit of a dewy finish. I really adore it but it's hard to get hold of Sephora stuff in the UK, unless I buy it from the French website or get one of my US friends to send it to me. Heartbroken here!
Also, I'd love to stock up on some more Miss Dior Cherie Eau de Parfum (£44 for 30ml, here). I've almost run out of my bottle, but the newest invention of it smells amazing. I was in House of Fraser, Glasgow the other day and this amazingly lovely saleslady started talking it up to me. I should also mention that the ladies at the MAC and NARS counters were amazing too! But anyway - she says that the perfumier for Chanel recently switched to Dior and created the newest incarnation of the frangrance - adding some subtle base notes to make it more grown up. Then she spritzed me some and I swear I couldn't stop smelling it. Gorgeous!

I'd also love a Cambridge Satchel Company Batchel in Yellow (£93, here). Yellow is my favourite colour, so I'm drawn to it anyway, but I love these satchels. I think they are cool and practical and the satchel is a classic so it will most likely never go out of style. I'd love this as my book bag for the new semester of Uni. You can get them in various colours and styles on the website as well as having them embossed so each one can be somewhat personal to you.
Anyway, that's my lottery-win birthday wishlist. What would be on yours??
S x
